Maryland’s highest court will not hear an appeal from Lee Boyd Malvo, one-half of the D.C. sniper duo, as he seeks to challenge several life sentences in the state.  Three men from Maryland and West Virginia have been sentenced to a combined 11 years in federal prison for violating firearms laws.
