What a difference a couple of years of hard work and self-work can make! Hearing another person say my presence alone made them feel like I could help save their life in a dire situation could not have made me more proud. I'm a protector. That's a role I've always felt. Losing my health took that from me. Not only did I not think I could protect my family and friends, but I was convinced I was only going to cause them harm trying to help me. Change is possible.
