What a Creep: Joss Whedon (Hollywood Creep)

from What a Creep · host Sonia Mansfield

What a Creep   Season 7, Episode 4 “Joss Whedon” Joss Whedon is one of the most prolific & successful writers, directors, and producers in the entertainment world. He is the brains behind Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Angel, The Cabin in the Woods, and Justice League. He is famous for his strong female characters, witty dialog, and love of the supernatural and geeky things. He made labeling yourself a feminist a cool thing for men to do.  He’s also a bit of a Creep as his wife of 15 years (Kai Cole) can attest. She accused him of using his feminism as a “shield” to have affairs with several women throughout their marriage. Also, he has been accused by actor Ray Fisher of abusive behavior on the set of Justice League. Other actors and crew members have since come forward about his less than professional manner both on and off the set.  Our main sources for this episode: Joss Whedon Wikipedia Variety The Cut The Guardian The Wrap Vice IndieWire The Mary Sue Screenrant Hindu Times (Hollywood News Service) Film Daily Be sure to subscribe wherever you get your podcasts and you will never miss an episode.  Also, be sure to follow us on social media!
