What A Narcissist Wants When You Go No Contact

As these strategies prove ineffective, the narcissist may resort to silent sabotage, spreading rumors and playing the victim to isolate their former partner. They may also employ guilt trips and emotional blackmail, preying on their former partner's empathy to regain control. Finally, if all else fails, the narcissist may launch a full-blown smear campaign, attempting to destroy their former partner’s reputation.
