What About This? Episode| Good Friday+ This Weeks Updates

from Wildly Hopeful with Brandy Dawson

Welcome to the very first episode of What About This? - your bite-sized Friday moment of grace and grounding to carry you through the rest of the day:) And what better way to begin than by gathering together on this sacred Good Friday? Today, we're leaning into the tension of this holy day- where sorrow meets salvation, and grief gives way to grace. You've probably heard the phrase "Good Friday" your whole life, but have you ever stopped to ask... what makes it good? In this off the cuff- unedited convo, I'll take you into my own journey, how I once overlooked the meaning of this day, until Grace met me in my wondering.  Together, we'll explore: Unexpected goodness wrapped in a day marked by suffering How grace rewrites the story of the cross The wild hope that rises from the darkest time in history   A Day That Changed Everything The love that held Jesus on the cross The sacrifice that closed the distance between us and God The promise of resurrection that still echoes through generations and eternity   I'll be sharing some personal updates- from my recent trip to Nashville, to an exciting meeting from my book proposal, and a podcast interview that brought me to tears of loss and of laughter, with my mom. Plus, I'll give you a glimpse into our easter weekend plans and how we can make space to truly reflect on this sacred time. "Grace found me in wondering. And now I know, Good Friday isn't good because it feels good. It'[s good because it costs everything to make a way for you and me to be made right with God." So, grab your coffee, your lunch, your journal, or just your open heart, and join me for an unfiltered, grace-filled momemnt as we prepare for Easter. Let's allow the weight of His love to reshape our view of the cross...and our lives beyond Because Sunday is coming! Don't Miss Out: Become a part of the wildy hopeful ones! For my friends who are feeling weary and looking for a place to sit, you have a seat here. You're invited to my table!
