What About TikTok?

from Politics & Psychology

Whatever happened to the TikTok ban? It was constantly covered in the news throughout the beginning of 2024. We heard over and over how it was a threat to our privacy and that China would use our online information to sexually exploit our children and manipulate our political system.  Yet, a few months later and there is no coverage about the ban. There have been no laws to protect online privacy or prevent election interference. For the 2024 Presidential Elections, both Democrats and Republicans are still on the social media app and are asking for both your vote and your dollars to support their candidate. So, is TikTok safe again? Listen-in to learn if we are being protected or manipulated.   📘Please listen, share, and educate others. In Science & Love, ~ Dr. Renee’ Carr ____________________________🗣️SHARE YOUR THOUGHTSInstagram: @PoliticsAndPsychologyFacebook: @PoliticsAndPsychologyPodcastX/Twitter: @DrReneeCarr#TikTokBan #HR8038 ____________________________🔗Research & Related LinksH.R.8038 - 21st Century Peace through Strength Acthttps://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/8038/textIs TikTok different in China?
