["What About?" Wednesday] Robby Lashua of Stand to Reason: What about Allah? Is the Allah of Islam the same god as Jehavoh of Judaism and Christianity?

The return of "What About?" Wednesdays! Text us your questions for apologist and pastor Robby Lashua! In 2015, Larycia Hawkins, a professor at Wheaton College in Illinois, decided to wear a headscarf during the Advent season as a gesture of solidarity with Muslims. In doing so, Hawkins quoted Pope Francis, saying that Christians and Muslims "worship the same God." But, are they?  Is Allah of Islam the same god as Jehovah or Judaism and Christianity?  Is God the Father actually the father of three of world's biggest religions?Wheaton, a Christian school, responded by putting the political science professor on paid administrative leave. The college said it needed time to review whether Hawkins' statement puts her at odds with the faith perspective required of those who work there. In today's episode of Kingdom Culture Conversations, we put that question to Stand to Reason apologist Robby Lashua! To learn more about Robby Lashua and all the amazing apologetic resources available at Stand to Reason's STR.ORG, please follow this link."Kingdom Culture Conversations" is a podcast created through Frameworks, a Biblical worldview initiative of Northwest Christian School. For more information on Frameworks, please visit:  https://frameworks.ncsaz.org/For more information on Northwest Christian School, visit:  https://www.ncsaz.org/To reach out to Geoff Brown, please email [email protected] or you can reach him by cell phone:  (623)225-5573.
