Join Our Community Here: https://www.lifeintransition.online/ What does it actually take to heal a man who was built not to break? Tim Thomas spent most of his adult life in environments that selected specifically for the ability to absorb pain and keep moving. Professional fighter in the early days of mixed martial arts. One of 15 men selected out of thousands in the first civilian intake into Australian special forces. A man who had trained himself to push through anything. And then, in February 2011, everything stopped working. What followed was one of the most honest accounts of collapse and recovery Art has heard from a man in this space. Tim didn't break dramatically. He eroded. Slowly, quietly, in the way that men who are trained to handle everything tend to erode — alone, self-justifying, telling himself stories that were pulling him toward something he couldn't come back from. What cracked it open wasn't a program or a therapist or a breakthrough moment. It was a single question. How many other men are up against what I'm up against right now? That question broke the isolation. And when the isolation broke, the healing became possible. Tim went on to build a breathwork program specifically for men in transition — grounded in the same physiological understanding he developed through years of elite performance training, adapted for the man who has spent decades running on adrenaline and needs to learn a completely different relationship with his own nervous system. This is a conversation about what actually heals men. Not what sounds right. Not what looks good in a program. What Tim lived through, what he built from it, and what he has watched work for the men he serves.
