What Are We Protesting About, Anyway

Acomi and Turk182 discuss the campus protests going on across American colleges and universities. Neither are oppose to protesting to support one's beliefs or speak out about injustice, but they're both big believers in protesting the right people. If you want a change in behavior or policy, then you have to direct your grievance at the people who can affect that change. Protesting Grandma's pie to lower gas prices isn't going to do much. There's also the people whose lives you're interrupting during your protest. From Grandpa down to the next door neighbor, their gonna be pretty ticked if they don't get some pie.
