TRANSCRIPT · AUTO-GENERATED

Hey, y'all, welcome to Stacking Growth, a Friday check-in where I take the tips we drop in the Refine Labs weekly newsletter and apply it for our own brand marketing team, stacking them up for our continued evolution and growth. I'm Steph Canola, and this week we are focused on experts, experts who are not robots who you get your questions from. So this week on Stacking Growth, called to action, Steve Voigt talked about his path into and through demand generation from the very early days of the role title. And I promise Steve, this is one of the very last times we're gonna talk about how long you've been in this industry and in this role.

He mentioned that one of the things that has gotten him through is relying on the experts around him to find the information he needs and push himself forward. That you start off and you are afraid to ask questions because you're afraid that you'll look like you don't know what you're doing. But as you grow in your career, and you know, this is something that I think we all can take to heart and learn, is if you need to know, the best thing to do is ask someone who has that knowledge, who has that experience, and who has the touch points of moving through and learning that you can also learn from. So last week, we asked for communities that you're a part of, where do you get your questions answered?

And a lot of you have very similar advice to Steve. Ask an expert, ask a friend, ask someone in your network who is there and gone through it and can help you. So we want to be some of those experts for you. I want to be one of those experts for you.

What questions do you have? What are you afraid to ask Chachi PT? I know it's so easy to ask a question to a robot right now. But if you want someone who has lived this experience, who do you go to?

What do you want to know? Hit us up in the comments with your biggest roadblocks, your biggest questions, the biggest ways that we can be there for you in your entire marketing journey. You've been watching me go through my journey basically from the start. You know, I launched this pillar as an accountability thing for me to show how I'm learning and growing.

And I want to kind of help make this more of a conversation than just a one-sided podcast. So I also wanted to share a couple LinkedIn profiles that I find a lot of value in. Obviously, this is a Refund Labs podcast. If I don't mention Megan Bowen and Evan Hughes, I don't know where we'd be.

But they really truly are incredible voices on that platform. I think if you're here, you already know that. If you've found your way to a Refund Labs podcast, there are already connections or in your feed. So we can focus on them as much as possible.

But at the end of the day, I want to shout out some names who are outside Refund Labs, who I have really found a lot of inspiration from. Sydney Waterfall is one, John Burke Becker, Taspober, Eric Jacobson, Ashley Ambersava, and Kaylee Edmondson. Those are a few names at the top of my head that I really enjoy when they pop up in my feed. There's so much joy and uniqueness coming from each of them.

So it's been a really great journey to get to absorb and learn from them. Kaylee and Sydney, I actually had the chance to learn in person from while I worked with them. And so to get to follow through with what they're doing on LinkedIn, it just makes that site such an invaluable resource. Being able to keep those connections all the way in and out of different jobs is an incredible thing.

So there are more. But I want to hear from you. Who do you follow on LinkedIn? Give them a little tag and let me know who else I should add to my feed collection.

Where are you getting your advice? Where are you getting your inspiration? Who's disrupting your feed in a really positive way? Short and sweet today.

Thank you all for joining in. And I will see you next week.
