We are gonna talk about how artificial intelligence is playing a role in the world today This is my second or third AI video and it's for good purpose in my opinion I asked AI a question today and And it was specific to you know how to engage Christmas and I was asking it for the reason to talk about on today's show because I wasn't sure what it was gonna say But in my mind what I do know is that we live in such a toxic and crazy world today that I figured the suggestion would be to talk to you All about something pretty explosive So I'm not gonna take AI's advice and I'm gonna do what I do But I thought it was a good way to talk about you know Maybe why I don't approach my podcast or post on social media in the same way as the world today and some precautions and steps that I believe we should be taking as Christians and how I think we can change the narrative of what's out there in the world So we're gonna get to that what AI thinks of Christians You are gonna want to hear that it might scare you a little bit I doubt it is gonna surprise you too much when you hear the topics that it would want you to talk about for the most engagement, right? So I asked that question that way because I actually don't do my show thinking about what's the thing that can get the most Engagement and we're gonna talk about why I think that is somewhat of an issue and a concern that we should be thinking through as believers Look my goal is always for us to be united in Christ. I don't care what color you are nationality I don't care what school you go to I don't care what political party you are affiliated with my goal and the goal of this show is always Figuring out how to engage true believers of Jesus Christ and how do you unite us in such a dark and toxic world? And sometimes that means that I'm just gonna go against the grain I'm not gonna talk about the things that I know that if I talk about the most people will listen to the show the most people Would engage that's not what we were about Why just because we believe in morals values character and standing on what you believe all right?

I want to talk about the fact that I think what has gone wrong for us is that we have allowed ourselves as Christians to listen to the wrong voices first things first no one is above this I'm not above this you're not above this we all could be guilty and not even know that like yo I have somehow allowed the wrong voices to creep into my life and to begin to influence me on my thoughts my actions and you know My ideology right it could be impacting my faith Maybe I thought I was walking and living for the Lord But the enemy was using me to be divisive to the kingdom of heaven I don't believe as a Christian that I can come on social media and on a podcast every day and talk about topics that continue to divide the Believers continue to divide the kingdom of heaven and think that I'm doing a work of the Lord But I think that maybe we have allowed ourselves to become so influenced by the world that we're losing sight of what Christianity is all about And with the mission of Jesus was all about look It was about discipleship going across all nations to all people to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ So I just want to set the tone as believers any voices or any influences that we are allowing to guide us in our life That do not start with that foundation of going to reach anyone any ethnicity Jews Gentiles across the earth across the world for what not to tell them what my favorite color is if it's red or blue Not them not to argue with them about what my beliefs are about social justice But to first and foremost believe us preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know I'm sounding real old fashioned these days Who wants to talk about Jesus who wants to talk about prayer?
No one believes it works anymore. Who's a real Christian out here? I get it I understand it. We it's not good enough for us anymore But at the end of the day what's happened is this we have allowed the most toxic voices the most toxic uneducated voices to become the loudest Now, I don't believe as a Christian that the loudest voices are actually representing what the true believers believe like I think what's happening is that it's a lot of true believers out here and we just quiet you just out there chilling And what you thinking is this man, I don't got time for this stuff.
These people crazy You know they tripping but first of all you scared to engage because you like y'all they're not gonna understand I don't feel like arguing with these people da da da so I get it. I'm like you I Understand it, but I want to call out the fact that what's happening is the ignorant voices are the loudest No, am I saying all our voices are ignorant? No, if you're a lot of waste no disrespect I'm not saying oh you're successful because you're ignorant That's not what I'm saying But I'm saying what's happening is that the general perception or consensus the general way that people are thinking and the division It's almost like if I got on this show today right now And I started talking crazy about Democrats or crazy about Republicans the views with shoot They were skyrocketing right so I got to like offend one side like on an extreme level and it just to appease the other But if I'm rational if I'm reasonable if some of my ideas are thoughts agree with the Democrats and some of my ideas are thoughts Are some topics I agree with the Republicans then all of a sudden so one side I'm a sellout to the other side I'm a champion and then it's like well, basically what we're saying is we're ruling out being rational like being rational today It's like the worst thing you could do like people will stop listening to you if you make sense That's crazy to me Why because we trust the wrong voices we simply maybe grew up on a certain news channel or we grew up believing that politicians always Told us the truth or maybe we whether you white black purple or green someone looks like you and that is all it takes for you To believe everything they say well guess what people that look like you lot too whatever color you are whatever Sided a party political agenda you on like people who look like you lied to let me let that soak in Y'all don't want to hear that None of us are above this idea that you're hearing the wrong voices Where where with the wrong voices where would it be coming from it could potentially be social media? It could be your YouTube timeline it could be the news channel you're watching the radio station You're watching some of us have just allowed ourselves We boxed ourselves out and put ourselves in echo chambers, right?
What do I mean like we have put ourselves in a situation where we only surround ourselves with people who think like us people who are from We don't diversify ourselves in our experiences at all which is crazy to me because as someone who has loved to study People like Booker T Washington and Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman these slaves people who were slaves now I'm speaking from the perspective of the community I come from right I'm from Detroit seven mile east side in the hood grew up around mostly black people up until I was in college So what's my point at the end of the day like when I look at people who came from real slavery? I'm not talking about injustice because they took $50 a year full stamps this month No offense, but I'm saying it's a difference study slavery You will realize it's a difference between being a slave and somebody just don't like you at work But you still got a job you still make money and I'm not like trying to minimize something So I'm gonna go through but I'm trying to actually like bring some insight and perception and layers and nuance to the conversation Booker T Washington Frederick Douglass Harriet Tubman They actually worked with white people they worked with people across the aisle to accomplish the goals that they were trying to accomplish They were not simply like oh, I'm a slave all I'm gonna do is hang around slaves No, well, how would you become a advisor to presidents Frederick Douglass if all you wanted to do was just hang around slaves because you were a slave Booker T Washington How would you ever gain a funding to build your school if you just had the mentality? Only want to hang around people. I'm around Harriet.
Tell me how do you build this pipeline of the underground railroad with places and checkpoints for people to be a part of? It took all people what I'm saying is the first thing we've allowed ourselves to do is become shut off from anyone who doesn't look think believe Exactly like us and that does not make you intelligent just because you cut people off It doesn't take a genius to cut someone off a lot of times We're cutting people off because we don't attain the emotional intelligence to hear the position or views of someone who doesn't exactly think like us If you want to become intelligent if you want to grow you're going to have to be able to engage and I mean politely Respectfully engage and maybe have some interactions with somebody who's just a little different than you regardless of what you look like regardless of who you are This relates to everybody. I'm not single and I want to say I'm not singing out this I use an example of slavery because of the fact that that's something that I've studied something that I'm intrigued by But at the end of the day it applies to everybody and one of the main things I think we doing a society today is that we just pointing the fingers at everybody and we want to tell everyone else why they're wrong and none of us Want to improve nothing I got areas to improve. I'm telling you that right now like I'm always trying to improve because I'm human and I mess up I can't just wake up every day and point out to y'all everything that's wrong with everyone else that doesn't include me No, me included bro.
You want to continue to grow you have to have the emotional intelligence and education to actually hear another perspective That's why educated people have debates in these days I don't think what we see as debates are true debates, right? Especially from the political realm everyone isn't a propaganda Whatever whatever is popular. We think is correct. Well, guess what?
She was Jesus the most popular individual walking around while he was walking earth. He was not he wasn't the most popular popularity is not equal to truth We gotta we have to grow beyond thinking that we're just gonna follow the crowd Man, I know being educated is challenging. All right. Cool.
What's the second thing? Um, I do want to say this You can't change this right? But I want to say before I talk about that What's at stake if we don't get it together? So what is that stake if we don't figure out a way to better resolve conflict or differences than just to be toxic and mad at each other and Screaming at each other across the aisle and shutting each other off and insulting each other Well, I think a couple things are a stake first and foremost I think your children their future is at stake Keep in mind the things that we are doing today the actions that we were taking the norms that we were putting place in culture that we're Allowing that we are cosigning is creating the world that your children will live in Now I don't have kids so I don't you know, I necessarily have to worry about this exact exact example But I have nieces and nephews.
I don't want people coming to me young people coming to me like how did y'all let this happen? I'm talking to the believers out here How did you let this become the norm? Oh, cuz I was just too busy like, you know, just watching shorts on YouTube or Instagram Real's I was just I was just doing this all day I was too busy not bobbing my head to the shorts and reels to even pay attention to what's really going on You know, I was too scared to present an opposing view You know, the toxic voices were too loud So I just stay quiet and allow them to be toxic and change the world and change the ideology and the way that we think in the way that We interact today and what the social norms are right? They had cancel culture.
I was just scared to say anything. I don't want my children I don't want the children of today to look at me in the future and be like bro. How did you let this happen? Alright, what's the third thing?
How do we turn it around now? I'm about to in a couple minutes and about five minutes I'm gonna tell you what AI artificial intelligence thinks of Christians and how everything I'm talking about applies so what AI wanted me to talk to you about today AI wanted me to talk to you about something today Mason suggestions and I'm gonna tell you why I didn't but I'm gonna share Exactly what I asked and what the answers was or what the answers were I can talk people I can talk How do we turn it around? Well, I think first and foremost we got to get in the game, bro Like as believers we have to get in the game What does that mean get in fellowship with one another get into the word of God get into the ideology and the belief system as Christians and not just surface level Christians that think because we had a concert in Saint Gasson that that's worship to God Like at the end of the day we have to become full-time believers of Christ in and out of the church building in and out of our echo chamber We have to represent and reflect that everywhere we go. What's the second thing we have to do?
Look starting your home That's the way we changed the narrative start with your children start with your friends your family the people that you're around I think a lot of us nowadays we wake up in the first thing we want to do in the morning is go out there and change the world of Social media we want to fight against the engine and change like you don't think like me you should think like me and it's like Bro, you spent all that time doing that and your kid in the other room and your family member in the other room on a phone arguing with somebody And meanwhile y'all haven't even came up with a constructive way to interact Y'all don't even know how to coorjourly talk about things that you may feel different because why because a lot of us just go and allow Ourselves to be bullied. Oh, y'all say this what I got to believe I got to believe this because everybody says it no I don't believe we do things just because everybody else does it like you don't tell me what to believe you don't tell me what policy I think I should vote for or against just because of what like you're gonna pressure me into it All right, you're gonna try to intellectually bully me. I think not people all right. What's the next thing educating yourself across the aisle?
What do I mean about that? You know if you grew up in a Democratic household or if you grew up in a Republican or conservative household and you have no Understanding of why do people vote the other way? Why do people think the other way? Why do I believe that this should happen and they believe that should happen and it doesn't mean that you need to change your mind or your vote?
But when you become educated about the other side and why they're doing something or why they believe something sometimes that brings forth compassion Sometimes that brings forth some understanding and it sometimes it just allows you to have a more educated support and Strength behind why you believe what you believe so the goal isn't to change what you believe But maybe what you believe would change if you allow yourself to even listen to the other side versus this bullying thing that we're doing Because I think there's a darker evil behind all of this stuff that's keeping the division going that most of us ignore We kind of argue about the surface level thing, but in the shadows I believe the enemy sitting there and he's instigated you ever seen an instigator of a fight? I remember this happened to me like fifth grade. I got into a fight with this guy I'm not gonna say his name because you know and today maybe the person is watching or come across his video So no shade or whatever, but I got into a fight in fifth grade I'm not proud of that But I did and what happened was we were in class and believe it or not this fight literally started because when you had the school My elbow was on one side of the desk and the other guys elbow was you know You only got this one bar both of us want the elbow we pushing each other pushing each other arm I was here first type deal now this fifth grade I'm 11 years old we get to the hallway and we were actually about to go to the auditorium for whatever reason I don't remember but we get in single file line in the class So now we're away from the desk But there was a group of guys a group of kids that was right there when they saw us with our elbows and they started instigating They started riling us up like I bet you ain't gonna hit him I bet you ain't gonna hit him and that I died and they were all these people were going back and forth and I still can remember Elementary Actors elementary walking through the hallway in a single file line going to the auditorium and all these people chirping in my ear around like Oh, you gonna let him talk to you like that and the guy start talking and all these things and I remember making up my mind Now, I'm not saying I had the best I don't think this story is gonna end with me being the hero the story necessarily But I'm just making the example that sometimes the loud distracted voices on the outside want you to be charged up They want you to act a certain way. I believe that's how the devil works He gets us charged up and he instigates things in our lives.
What happened? Well, I just said I was like hey y'all can talk all y'all want as long as nobody touches me Well now that also created another problem now, right because you want fifth grade so we get to the auditorium We are like in these theater style seats and we sit in there and they like now you got the instigators They're like whoo he said don't touch him I bet you won't touch him and I died out and my man started doing a whole like this thing where they hand is in your face But they not touch you and you feel what I'm saying? What up? What up?

Thank you So so they put that put they figure all around my face or whatever he didn't touch me and I was like longest He don't touch me and what happened five minutes into sitting in that auditorium. He did this he tapped my finger tapped my hand Well, you know what I got to do now because I don't allow the enemy to instigate and now I can't now I can't be a sucker cuz this whole time I've been standing on bit and it's like yo as long as you don't touch me you can say what you want to say everything was said about me everything was said and I still my ground and unfortunately, I also still my ground when he touched me and There was a two-piece wing dinner that I'm not proud of that I delivered to the individual and we ended up in the office And that person was trying to be my friend ten minutes later So I never been a fighter But I have fought a couple times when I had to and I was a that was maybe that maybe not a bit of two-piece that potentially was three wings in a Biscuit, I think it was three wings in a biscuit and I'm I hope that guy saved and doing well God forgive me But my point is I allowed the enemy to instigate and escalate and I believe in the world we live in today We've allowed the enemy to instigate and escalate and when the enemy instigates then things will get escalated right? And you'll have people arguing and now you in this real weird ego Proving situation where it's like I said this you bet and I do that and I'm telling you guys believe is this is no way to live This is no way for an educated civilized person to walk around every day.
I don't care how tough you are you could be a professional fighter I just don't think it's the way to carry yourself actually think professional fighters probably do the opposite and they don't want to engage and be Fighting and things because they understand what their strength is they understand what they're good at right? All right, so what do I want to end this with I want to tell you what I think so humans and Christians in particular And I'm gonna share my screen to make this point. All right, so first before I get into what AI said you understand the question, right? I want to AI to just search the internet just today and tell me like they still what everybody's talking about if I wanted to reach the most people With a Christian podcast from a Christian perspective What topic would you suggest that I talked to them about and what is alarming to me is that AI which has the ability to search the internet very quickly across everything is being said the the sentiment across all these websites and things that What this AI suggested gave me an image of what the world looks like today and how we're carrying ourselves just today All right, so let's jump back into it. What did AI say? So that let's you know right there where we where we at like in how messed up we are in the world that in order to reach Christians It takes cultural tension. Here's the top topic the ethics of outreach versus outreach of outrage Specifically the case of Rene good and the ice shooting surprise surprise if I want to get the most engagement today as a Christian It's not talking about the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's not talking about repenting It's not talking about growing as a believer.
It's not talking about loving your brother and your sister as yourself It's not talking about doing as to others as to what you want to under you It's not picking up your cross and following the words of Jesus. This is what you should talk about with them So I'm just looking at AI in this instance as the engine that was able to search the internet of the trending topics of today and make a suggestion And what I'm saying to us is based on what we're saying because the suggestion is based on our conversation based on what we're saying This is what it's saying about us this to me is a reflection that we are saying the wrong things We are not putting the right things out into the world We are actually falling into the propaganda and the agenda of the the enemy to actually separate the church Why do I say this because part of the suggestion that AI said was that it wants me to talk about the grenade good and ice shooting Because of what it forces you I'm gonna go back to it. Listen.
Look at what it says The tribalism factor it forces listeners to choose between two deeply hailed christian values Either choose respect for authority and law and order or compassion for strangers. Listen Y'all I think one of the biggest mistakes that we are making in the world today Is that we have become so tribal that we are both our christian values, right? Respect for law and order and compassion for strangers and others But now because we are tribal what we're saying is no we are choosing one or the other And this is the biggest trick of the enemy on the internet today The enemy has put you in a position and instigated you to the fact to the point that you think you gotta choose between Respect and law order or loving your brother or loving others as christ love you At the end of the day If anything should take the whole of something that god wants me to do and slice it in half I can't choose either of those options. I gotta choose the option that respects both of them I need to choose the option that respects authority But also upholds compassion for strangers and others And if anything would have me to go against that then I can't rock with it And that means if someone gets killed on either side of the fence I'm not going online to celebrate that because I am a christian I believe in Jesus Christ I do not believe as a follower of Christ that one should make fun of death make joke of death make someone else's death Um mean nothing because that is a life a soul that is gone Hopefully they knew Jesus on either side But if my politics have become such an important part of my tribe and my identity that I am willing to choose to defile uh some of the Commandments and principles of the bible to love others as you love yourself to treat others the way you want to be treated There is nobody that could tell me that if you had a love when they lost their life That whether they was a democrat Independent or anything in between that you would want someone to go and make fun or make a mockery of them And so what happens is we have all become hypocrites across all these political parties simply because we are no longer founded on the principles of the bible We are no longer founded on Jesus Christ We have allowed ourselves to be founded on our political opinion our social agenda the agenda of acceptance and people pleasing of others In a geopolitical and economical topics that we are not even well versed in in so we have people who are not even educated who are not even well versed on How the world works or historical events that have happened that have led us to this place We are just stuck in an emotional trap of tribalism and we are picking and choosing the topics in areas where we want to become believers And I don't see that in the bible and we become self-righteous in the way that we acted out We think that hey because I'm on this side.
I'm more safe than you. Hey, well because I'm on this side Because I'm it's like everybody is just self-righteous across the board We've all lost our way and we need to turn back to the principles and beliefs of Jesus Christ He is the only way the only remedy to solve these issues and we have convinced ourselves that somehow we can do the work of God that we can Avenge our own issues and our own problems that we can overcome without him to the point that we are willing to join with others Who don't even who do not even walk with Christ we are willing to wrap arms and stand and call people brother and sister who are not brothers and sisters in Christ Who have not given their lives to the Lord and we are willing to fight other believers I don't care what color you are. I don't care what I'm this is not favoritism to nobody This is a message to say that we have lost our way as believers in Christ And I am not standing here on like some virtuous person that just gets it all right all the time And I'm not saying that my way or the highway what I'm saying is even me as a believer if I think out of pocket in an area Lord change my heart Lord allow me to see what you want me to see Lord allow me to walk in the way that you want me to walk Lord allow me to use my platform to glorify you to glorify your message Not to be so caught up in my skin color Not to be so caught up in my political party What side of town I'm from my economical status My my social status like all of these things that we allow to define us in christianity has become just some Little piece of the part is way in the back the crumbs at the bottom of the bag And we're like oh yeah, and by the way, I'm a christian But nothing else about you nothing else about the way I present myself Nothing else about my ideology nothing else about the way that I present an argument or the way that I was willing to listen to an argument Because maybe I do have an argument maybe I do have an opinion But can I ever be quiet and actually let you get your thought out? Can I ever just listen?
Can I ever just study before I just have an opinion about all of the geopolitical things going on in the world? Can I read one book to understand like oh wow? Yeah, okay? Immigration this has been an issue across all presidents in power this thing has gone all over the place This isn't new.
I don't need to hate someone so bad that I just lie and make it seem like they're making this a thing This has been a thing we've been in this situation and no one wants to just tell the truth No one wants to say hey guys I actually think we're all wrong in some ways I think we're all missing some things maybe some of us have a lack of respect for authority Maybe some of us have a lack of compassion for others and versus me just uh virtue signaling depending on what side of the track I stand on how about I raise my hand and say I think we are wrong And I think it's only one solution to this and it's for us to follow Jesus Christ to change our hearts The bible says in Romans to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. I think it's time to renew my mind I think it's time to renew my mind You feel me? What up my lawyer? All right.

This is where AI thinks that I should be talking to christians about The AI Constitution would you let an algorithm rule a new survey shows 41 percent of americans under 40 would support AI making major policy decisions Including those regarding religious practices 41 percent of americans under 40 believe us what's the angle technological salvation? Is it the new ideology idolatry if an AI is more just than a human should a human should a christian supported This appeals to genz and alpha listeners who are increasingly delusion with human institutions Look, i'm gonna stop sharing right there. I just want you all to understand something at the end of the day AI thinks that as a christian your toxic you like division and you like to talk about things that Conflict your christian belief one way or another. I'm gonna say this.
I think you better than that I think you have more depth in that. I think you have more substance than that I think that there are believers out there that have been quiet that Actually do have a fair approach actually do follow and believe in the gospel of jesus christ And you are you've been operating in this world feeling lost feeling alone feeling like man What do I do like am I only one are we a dying breed? No? No, you're not you're not a dying breed I want to talk to you today like it's just it's just people like you have been quiet And maybe they've been quiet because you've been quiet and maybe we've been quiet But at the end of the day now is not the time for us to be quiet Now is the time for us to speak with wisdom right speak respectfully But you never know by sharing an alternative perspective who you may resonate with but here's the thing I think you're gonna have to understand as a believer jesus walk this earth with his 12 disciples, right?
Jesus didn't come to earth and make himself famous He didn't come to earth and make himself a king of the earth a worldly king He was a king The king of kings but he could have came here and made himself a swagged out king And oftentimes I ask myself why didn't he is because as a believer you have to understand that your mission and your purpose is not to be the most Light it's not to be the most viral it's not to be the most famous because those things I am not saying if you are a viral or if you're famous you did something wrong I'm not here to make that judgment But what I am saying is that trying to do those things can put you in a position where you talk about things just for engagement Just so the algorithm can push you forward or who do you think the algorithm is? What do you think the algorithm is? The algorithm is AI so at the end of the day is like oh like it's artificial intelligence like deciding who's post you see and who's post you Don't see you've been following 5,000 people and you probably wake up every day on facebook and see the same 10 people talking every day Because AI decided you don't need to see the other ones because these people are talking about stuff you want to talk about it AI keeps you in an echo chamber Maybe there are other perspectives out there that you could appreciate but AI decides it and what do we do? We become slave system and said well I'm gonna talk about the things that AI wants me to talk about so that I can get engagement But what about the thing that God wants you to talk about what if the thing that God wants you to talk about only gets you 10 views In five likes but you want to talk about the thing that's gonna go viral Why because we are value in virality more than we are salvation and the gospel of Jesus Christ And I'm just here to encourage you and inspire you today and say if you're that person that feels like man My voice doesn't feel loud enough.
My talent doesn't feel good enough Um, my points don't seem strong enough. Just keep trusting. I keep praying Don't allow the validation of the world to be your currency Don't allow that to be the thing that make you think you're walking in purpose You may have to walk in purpose secretly and quietly for a long time and allow God to develop you in the dark before you get any Type of recognition or exposure not that you should even be seeking those things But my point is we have to change What our standard is for success as believers my standard of success on this show cannot be Did I get the most views? No Because I'm not going to talk about the thing that simply gets me the most views if it goes against what I genuinely believe needs to be talked about So no today I'm not gonna give you my opinion about Renee good and I shoot shooting God rest her soul I'm not gonna give you my opinion about what side of the political party I think is right on this topic I'm gonna simply say that there are more important things that we need to be talking about As a believer, I would much rather talk to you about how to continue to work on denying myself So that I follow Christ how to continue working on when I wake up in the morning Not allowing my phone to be the first voice that I allowed to be in my ear not allowing myself to scroll on youtube Instagram Facebook too much not to be distracted not to allow myself to get so easily pushed off my my base and what the lord is calling me to do To continue to improve how I talk to others how I understand am I compassionate?
Am I a good leader like the people who follow me in the business world my team Am I good to them? I don't have to come in the corporate America every day and say I'm a christian I'm a christian I'm a christian do I look like a christian do I sound like a christian if they had to take a multiple choice test and guess What I was with they choose christian that matters more to me than me going to work wearing across around my neck every day to Signal to them that i'm a christian. I say that is nothing wrong with wearing across i'm not saying that I got some cross chains too I'm just making a point that there are more important things for me to talk about today in this world and society Then to just choose the thing that is rooted in propaganda and that the story changes from month to month But it's always something and that's what i'm here to tell you today as a believer It's always something don't allow yourself to get caught up into the division and allow the enemy to instigate to separate you From god and his people where to cause you to look at guys people who are a different color or ethnicity than you Or from a different neighborhood or social status in class than you to look down on them or up at them or whatever it is in a way That's ungodly don't allow the enemy to instigate your life as a believer listen I appreciate y'all.
