What Attacks You Shouldn't Attach – Protecting Your Marriage from Isolation and Mental Overwhelm

Jamie went to bed alone, woke up alone, and eventually broke down in tears, feeling unloved and isolated. Dominic had to repent immediately and reprioritise, learning that there are three relationships: personal (with God), private (with spouse/family), and public (ministry/community) – and he had mixed up the order. Jamie speaks about learning to stop isolating herself when overwhelmed. She shares how her husband had to confront her when her mood caused their children to stop running to the door when she came home. She also opens up about two traumatic premature births (both children born at six months via emergency C-section) and the depression, isolation, and questioning ("Why me? I did everything right") that followed. The couple leaned on each other, spoke openly about their fears, and held on to God.
