What Bryan Kohberger Wrote About His Own Lawyers

Bryan Kohberger's guilty plea was supposed to close the Idaho student murders case. A handwritten petition filed from his cell on July 27, 2026 says otherwise, and it opens by turning on the three attorneys who kept him off death row. Kohberger, representing himself now, calls their work ineffective. He argues he was convinced to falsely confess and that he agreed to the plea based on a gross misrepresentation of what life without parole would actually mean. He doesn't write that he's innocent.
