What “Daily Bread” Really Means

What does “daily bread” really mean? In this Daily Hope devotional, Pastor John S. It is a prayer of childlike boldness, daily dependence, and trust in the Father’s provision. Jesus teaches us to come to God with confidence because He is our Father. When we are surrendered to His kingdom and His will, we can boldly ask Him to give us everything we need today to do His work on earth. That includes our physical needs, but it also includes wisdom, strength, health, transportation, provision, and the help we need to follow Him faithfully. And when we pray, we never pray alone. Jesus intercedes for us, and the Holy Spirit helps us when we do not know what to pray.
