Welcome to Episode 85!  Following birthday festivities, The Boys are back with an all new episode for you!  Mark & Casey are back on it, discussing pop culture from their experiences and reviewing the news--- with all the hilarity and pointed commentary you've come to expect and love as only they can dish. So pour some port vintage and let's get into it!

Kicking off this week in the Pick-Up, Mark is dishing on the birthday festivities with all the October birthday celebrations for folks. Then Casey is discussing a movie outing and reconnecting with some friends he hasn't been able to see thanks to the.... Corona-19-COVID-CORVID-19-19-20-20-21-21-Delta-Variant (cue the harp)!

In this week's Mid-Section, The Boys are spilling their thoughts on the new documentary, What Happened, Brittany Murphy, now streaming on HBO Max. Some of the movie highlights are discussed and The Boys are giving their thoughts on what may have happened in this tragic story of the loss of a talented movie star gone far too soon. To close out the segment, Casey & Mark are highlighting their own personal favorite Brittany Murphy performances.

Then it's on to this week's Trash Talk!  This week Mark & Casey are discussing top news stories from pop culture over the last couple weeks starting with a reminder on why it's important to pay attention to the backgrounds of your pictures before posting them when one man posts to sell something and finds himself arrested.  Next, The Boys are reacting to a casting announcement out of London's West End which leads to a discussion which introduces the topic everyone is talking about -- Dave Chappelles' latest Netflix special with allegedly transphobic content.  Closing out this week's segment. An "effort" to make amends by a public transit company backfires royally.

In this week's recommendations, Casey is loving a docuseries with true-crime content which has him questioning the content and Mark is recommending a deeply affecting indie film in limited release.

This one is full of color and tea for you. Hilarity and discourse abound in this all new episode!! So grab your supplies, including that fall flavored port vintage, and let's paint with this all new episode of Painted Trash!
