This week, Dayspring Christian Center welcomes Minister Larry Hunter and his wife Deborah Hunter, who are missionaries in Thailand. The Hunters are to be commended for their service to God and their work as true missionaries. Larry Hunter tells the story of his struggle to find a suitable church to worship in when he first arrived in Thailand, but eventually found one that allowed him to volunteer and be useful in the children's ministry. He emphasizes the importance of being plugged into a church and being useful for the Kingdom of God. He believes that challenges can make a person better and allow them to be stretched. Minister Hunter then challenges us to look at our faith response when things don't go the way we expected them to go. He reminds us that it's about the promise, not the journey.
