What Do You Expect

from WS Podcast

In this week's episode, I will share with you my thoughts regarding the expectations and attitudes we might have when encountering new people, ideas, and experiences. I will talk about my recent discussion with a friend, who chooses to keep herself from getting hurt by anticipating an upcoming end to any relationship she is engaging in. Throughout the episode I will address the idea of 'emptying your cup', freeing yourself from past conditioning, and approaching a situation with a fresh mind. Inspired by the works of Jordan B. Peterson, Sun Tzu, and Alan Watts, I will invite you to consider what is your approach to facing life's difficulties. With the belief that 'everyone has plenty of meaningful stuff to share with another' I will challenge you to develop a new way of looking at these moments of 'newness'. I hope this episode will empower and inspire you. Hope you enjoy it! Books to explore: Maps of Meaning (Audio Download): Jordan B. Peterson, Jordan B.
