What Do You Have To Pay With?

Church attendance will never account for righteousness. We look at all of the sins and think we don’t do them which would then make us more righteous. None of us have anything apart from God. If you’ve been saved, God didn’t save your flesh. Your flesh is and will always be sinful.  God knows your heart and your thoughts. Maybe you looked at someone and judged them and thought you were better than that person. We have no right to compare our lives with others to think we are better than others. Faith and believing are what please God, not righteousness. Comparing your life with another is the wrong comparison. Sin is sin regardless of where you are. There are no big or little sins. Those that owe more, a sinner, a lost person, owe a lot, their life. But this morning we will speak to those who are saved, those who owe “less” than the lost. The unbelief is what will keep one out of Heaven, not sin. One sin versus 500 sins means nothing. When one gets saved they have nothing to give, they are in a debt that nothing material could ever pay. Jesus paid it all to the fullest. Those who are saved never deserve it. The minute you think you’re better than another because you think God loves you more and has blessed you over another, you’ve been badly mistaken.  The sins that are in a person’s life can’t be paid for by ourselves. We have nothing to pay for them.  We all have a debt that we all owe God and we have no money or nothing that will spend. There is a day coming when you will die. It makes no difference how much money you have, you will not take it with you. What you have right now means nothing when you die.
