Xchange Chicago opened a 28,000-square-foot technology business hub in Grand Crossing to provide workforce development and tech innovation opportunities for local residents. The initiative, supported by the Comer Science and Education Foundation, P33, SDI Presence, and community stakeholders, offers apprenticeship programs in fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, leading to direct job placements with SDI Presence. Mayor Brandon Johnson and business leaders attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and SDI Presence committed to a 10-year lease at the facility.
