💐🔥SHOW NOTES Discipleship is powerful---which means it can either form people into Christlikeness or deeply wound them. Let's talk about what healthy, Biblical discipleship actually looks like. In this conversation episode of flower & flame, we define what Biblical discipleship truly is---and what it is not. We talk about the difference between discipleship and mentorship, and why spiritual health matters when influence is involved. Anchored in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), we explore how best to use the authority and influence Jesus entrusted to His Church. We also have an honest conversation about how unhealthy spiritual leaders can cause real harm---even abuse---when influence is not submitted to Christ.
