What Does HealthWatch Camden Do?

What is Healthwatch? Frances Hasler of HealthWatch Camden explains how Healthwatch supports service users in improving services. It tries to find out what the priorities of local people are in relation to the provision of health and social care services and then works to ensure that poor quality services are improved. Recently helped the users of Mental Health service users in Highgate to explain to Camden Council and to service providers to explain why the way that they were re-organising services was being done in the wrong way. Local people need to get involved in helping to identify problems, but Healthwatch can really help them influence the way in which services are provided.
