And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”(1 Peter 1:6-7) “In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”(Matthew 7:21-23) “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’(Revelation 2:2-4) “‘I know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. 3 I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name's sake, and you have not grown weary. 4 But I have this against you, that you have abandoned the love you had at first.”Have a question or topic in mind? Good But Ugly Qwesha Coutou The trillion dollar student loan debt started with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Good but Ugly was born out of frustration of the FAFSA, which remains a barrier to college access faced by many, especially international and first generation college students. This podcast starts a conversation that goes beyond surface level FAFSA simplification. Strong Back, Soft Front Emily Anger This podcast goes one step deeper than just having regular conversations. It will be a mix between introspective monologues and having dialogues with others, to discuss things that are beyond surface level and that can be hard to talk about openly. It's about stripping the facade to get into the real person. I want to find out what drives people, what some of their insecurities are, why people do what they do and what they want to bring to the world. Big or small. I want to bridge the gap between being and becoming, to promote authenticity and vulnerability as strengths and to provide a platform where people can relate, have break throughs, learn to understand different perspectives or to just listen to conversations that they might want to have but rarely do. I hope you'll enjoy this!
