What Does It Mean To Be Black?
from We Don’t Always Agree with Ryan & Sterling
If you've ever had an identity crisis, needed to reaffirm who you are, or if you are just incredibly proud of being B-L-A-C-K... this episode is for you. We're making sense of who we are (from the lens of racial/cultural identity), the stories we’re told about who we are growing up, and how we reconcile the complexities of identity across the Diaspora as adults. This episode is dedicated to the truth made popular during the Black Freedom Movement of the 60s, "Black IS beautiful." PERIOD. We Don't Always Agree is an Indian Meadows Production in partnership with ABF Creative. We Don’t Always Agree is recorded at the Blackbird House Flagship in Culver City, California.
