Love proves itself by actions. The reason you know that people love you is by what they are willing to do for you. And even more specifically, what they’re willing to sacrifice for you. And the same is true for us and God. Even in those moments when you doubt God’s love because of guilt over something you’ve done or the circumstances of your life, you can know without a doubt that God loves you because of what Jesus did for you.
