South Africa has sunk deeper into junk status after Moody's Investors Service and Fitch Ratings in lowered the country's credit ratings this weekend. Moody's cut the nation's foreign and local-currency ratings to Ba2, two levels below investment grade, from Ba1 while Fitch cut the nation's foreign and local-currency ratings to BB-, three levels below investment grade, from BB, also with a negative outlook. What does this mean for the average South African? We spoke to Economist Duma Gqubule.
