What Does Self Love Really Mean?

from Create with Elyse · host Elyse-Anne

17: We can always love ourselves more can't we? But do we?  A lot times people think self love is about going for massages, spa treatments and even a shopping spree. It's a great way to destress for sure but what's the point of the activities if you're still the same person at the end of the day? Self love is doing things for your highest good. I know it sounds selfish but you can't give what you don't have. You want to come from a space where you've overflowing with everything and you've so much to give and you don't have think about your next meal or rent. Self love also means let your yes be yes and no is a complete sentence. As women we've all these unspoken crazy rules to make us fit into the patriarchy system. If you don't stand up and speak up for yourself, no one will. Just because you're a nice person, doesn't mean you're a doormat. What's the point of being nice to others but you end up betraying yourself? What you tolerate you'll end up getting more of. Because that's the vibration you're sending out to the Universe. At the end of the day, you teach people how to treat you the right way. And it begins with you. Self love is really all about getting to know YOU and having a fabulous relationship with you. When you've an amazing relationship with you, you're having an amazing relationship with God. And you become the entire UNIVERSE! I wish you well. Love and blessings, Elyse-Anne 🙋‍♀️P.S.
