What Does The Bible Say About Self Defense?

Are Christians allowed to defend themselves, their family and children from grave harm if they are being brutally attacked?  Generally speaking, yes.  But wasn't Jesus speaking about the immorality of self defense when He taught us to "turn the other cheek"?  Actually, no.  He was speaking more to how we handle personal insults.  Are there Bible verses that deal directly with self defense?  Yes, there is one in the Old Testament.  In this podcast, we look at what the Bible says about self defense and how we are to properly apply those teachings to our lives today.
