The seed needs, good soil, good environment and enough TIME, to bear fruits! To read and memorize the word of God, is good, but not enough! To reach to our hearts, we need to understand and meditate! Meditate means: To think and contemplate of the word of God , pray with it and imagine how can we apply it! This needs slow and attentive reading of the Bible, away from distraction and may be in the light of the writings of the church fathers and the life of the saints!
