Billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has reported a sharp rise in profits due to strong returns on derivative contracts. Net profits for the second quarter were $3.4bn a rise of 74%,revenue grew to $38.3bn. The social networking site LinkedIn price  was shares  $45 in May, but the share price more than doubled on its first day of tradin to$100 a share,it is now about 95 dollars.The company valued at about $10bn.
