What Even Is Activism?

Jon and Ron talk about activism, slacktivism, and astroturfing. Sharing memes isn't enough, FYI. Also, it wouldn't be an episode if Jon didn't manage to throw in a couple of Voltron references. Jon and Ron talk to Mandisa Thomas of Black Nonbelievers about activism, inequality in the atheist community, and the religious affiliation within black communities. http://www.blacknonbelievers.org http://www.wrfg.org http://www.patreon.com/mandisalateefah https://plannedbyalison.regfox.com/black-nonbelievers-2018-convention-at-sea http://www.secularwomenwork.org/ https://www.facebook.com/mandisalateefah https://www.facebook.com/BlackNonbelievers Twitter: @mandy0904 Twitter: @BNonbelievers Gandalf Or God?! Ron has to guess whether four quotes come from The Lord Of The Rings or The Bible. We're keeping a running total to see if he can keep his score in positive numbers. Ron starts this week off with a 2/4. What Even Happened? Jon and Ron talk about their week and what they watched, read, or did that made it not so terrible.
