What Happened to the Fun in Gaming?

Gaming is not as fun as it used to be. It has become more a grind or a chore. The industry has changed into a money hungry beast that just wants us to keep spending money on their battle passes and cosmetics. Even games that have a ton of effort put into them aren't as good as they could be. Huge open worlds and shiny graphics aren't what makes a game great. Sometimes great games just need to be simple and more focused. In this video, I reflect on how the fun factor has changed in video games over the years.
