from Clarity from the Heart™ · host Coach Carrie Willis

Carrie Connects™ | Show Recap | June 13, 2026If you missed today’s episode of Carrie Connects™ with Jason Wilson, the replay is live and this one went places I did not expect.Jason is a Morehouse College graduate, full time podcast producer, founder of Circle of Friends Club, CEO of Spirit Linc, and a 24 year expat building a global ecosystem from Bogotá, Colombia. We brought him on during Men’s Mental Health Month because he is not just talking about mental health. He is living it, building around it, and dedicating his life’s work to it.The Man Behind the MissionMost people know Jason as the podcast producer who handles everything so his clients just show up. But today we learned where the real motivation comes from. His mother was his best friend. He watched her transform from a happy, gregarious woman into someone who spent most of her days in bed, battling bipolar depression and suicidal ideation. He flew home from Colombia four and five times to show up for her. He never stopped trying. She passed in 2014.From that moment Jason made a decision: everything he builds from here on out would be dedicated to her memory and centered on mental health. That is not a brand strategy. That is a son honoring his mother the only way he knows how.The Loneliness Epidemic Nobody Is Talking About EnoughOne of the most important things Jason said today was simple and urgent. There is a loneliness epidemic. And it is getting worse. That is the motivation behind Spirit Linc, his faith-based dating and connection platform for entrepreneurs, athletes, leaders, and entertainers who are ready for meaningful relationships. Not just romance. Real connection rooted in shared values. When high-performing people build everything around their careers and arrive at the top alone, that is not success. That is the loneliness epidemic in a suit. Spirit Linc was built for that person.Circle of Friends Club and What Men Experience Inside ItJason built Circle of Friends Club as a mental wellness community that holds space for the conversations men benefit from learning how to start. Depression. Anxiety. PTSD. The things that do not come up in the locker room or the boardroom.Men are statistically the least likely demographic to seek mental health support. Jason built a community specifically designed to change that, quietly, consistently, and with the kind of warmth that makes people feel safe enough to show up.His Advice for Aspiring PodcastersOne of the audience questions gave us one of the best pieces of practical wisdom of the entire show.Jason started his first podcast on a laptop with no microphone, no green screen, and no camera. The image was grainy. He posted it anyway. His advice: figure out what you are passionate about and just start. Do not wait for the perfect setup. Resilience and perseverance build audiences. Equipment comes later.Twenty four years of building in a country where most people were afraid to visit taught him that waiting for perfect conditions is how you never begin.Go Watch the Replay and Connect With JasonThe replay is live now across all platforms.
