What happens before the vows?

Before either gender decides to get married, there's always a tale of gut feelings (from men). For women, they always require a kind of thoughtfulness that money can't buy. As you have heard from my friends, the certainty of marriage after courtship doesn't require a set of rules written in stone (especially when you feel your money, sex or domestic duties will guarantee marriage).
