When we bought our first EV, we were thrilled by the convenience of charging at home. And by off-peak, I mean our car charged every night between midnight and 3 AM to take advantage of these sweet, inexpensive kilowatt hours. This setup was simple and cost-effective. However, the game changed when we decided to purchase a second EV. Suddenly, charging became a logistical challenge, leading us to explore smarter solutions.
