Large swings in both directions is the theme of the market these days.This is common and normal garden, variety market behavior when we get into these corrective phases.We'll see rallies that last for a couple of weeks, followed by another decline that takes it all way in a couple of days.We look at the charts from a technical perspective and leave the fundamental stuff for otheres to fight over.Each market is treated and analyzed independent of one another. We look the small cap index using the Russell 2000 index. We pick apart the SPY and also look into sectors such as financials using the XLF and SMH for the semiconductor segment of the technology sector.
