What I learned growing up in extremist purity culture

Episode Notes As Christina grew up as a young teenager, she grew up in an organization that prioritized modesty and purity for women. While these are both important and Biblical concepts, the mindset of this organization took it to the extreme and impacted her perception of biblical modesty and womanhood. Throughout much of Christianity, could it be that we are causing the very things we hope to avoid? Changing the perception of women into sexual objects to satisfy an unbiblical patriarchy, where men are freed from all responsibility.
