Anakin sighs as he prepares for bed yet again, though he takes no joy in it. When Padme notices his hesitation, he tries to brush it off but in truth, he is exhausted. Yet for the past few days, all he has received when he goes to bed are nightmares. The same nightmares of his wife in her hospital bed, struggling to fight through the pain of birth but failing to do so.
