What Is a Profession of Faith?

People can grow up with Christian teaching, yet each person must decide whether Jesus is truly their Lord and Saviour. Lost people cannot rescue themselves. Romans 10 points them away from attempts to find another saviour and towards trust in Christ alone. Genuine faith becomes public in a clear, considered confession that Jesus is Lord.
