What Is Blue MAGA and Why Do They Insist on Enabling Fascism, Lawlessness, and Futility?

Abusive people always become hostile when you point out the irrefutable facts that disprove their position.Fact: In 2020, the voters gave the establishment Democrats all the power they needed to stop the rise of fascism.Fact: Establishment Democrats refused to act.Whenever I write something like this, my post gets flooded with all sorts of responses. “Oh, you’re being too divisive.”“They did everything they could.”“You’re part of the problem.”At this point, I’ve heard the same old noise for so long that I’m no longer sensitive to the frequency. It’s been tuned out. I’m done. Don’t waste your breath. For the majority of my life I’ve listened to the lectures of people who claimed they “knew better.”But now I’m 51, and it’s my time to talk. I’m sick and tired of listening to establishment Democrats make promises about all the things they’re going to do for us at some mythical, distant date.We gave you the power in 2020. You fumbled. It’s time for a change.Today, we’re looking at a tyrannical regime that regularly uses the Constitution as toilet paper. They’re blowing up schools full of children in unconstitutional wars. They’re using taxpayer dollars to build concentration camps where children are being raped. They have sent out a hillbilly murder squad to assassinate law abiding US citizens in the street.They have a blank check when it comes to torture, death, and destruction, but they don’t have a penny to give us for our healthcare.Oh, and it’s our money.At this point, we all know well enough that it’s wishful thinking to call the Democrats an opposition party. At this point the Republicans are at an all-time low in terms of popularity, but the Democrats aren’t that far behind.Anyone who pays attention to congressional votes starts to see that every time the Republicans make an absurd and anti-humanitarian demand, there are always a handful of Democrats who defect and join them.Again and again the voters gave the Democrats enough seats to stop the rise of fascism, but somehow the Democrats don’t have the votes.Why is that?The answer is Blue MAGA. I mean, what else can you call them? These are the “comply or die” Democrats who absolutely refuse to listen to the people, and then turn around and blame the voters every time something goes wrong.That kind of sounds a lot like Red MAGA now doesn’t it. They’re the party of authoritarian compliance and they have a faction among the Democrats. Don’t try to pretend that’s not the case. The Democrats have had a LOT more power to stop the abuses we have had to endure. Anyone who tells you otherwise is Blue MAGA.Blue MAGA represents the faction of pro-life advocates among the Democrats. At some point the party has to be unified in its messaging. They have to start educating the American public so they know “pro-life” is a call for violence against women. It’s white supremacy. It’s control.I will not donate to a political party that has any tolerance for any political figure that believes he can strip my daughters of their bodily autonomy. Are you kidding me?At this, the members of Blue MAGA rise up and say, “But hey, in order for us to have a coalition, we have to work with people we disagree with.”My response is, “Okay, model that. I disagree with you. Work with me.”Then they get huffy and start screaming insults at me. They sound a lot like the orange skidmark in the oval office. That’s why I call them Blue MAGA, the playbook is the same.The simple fact is that enduring Blue MAGA in our party costs us elections. These are saboteurs. These are people who are more content to make money on the increase in donations they see after a loss than to use their power to get the people any wins.Let’s just speak openly. There are corporate stooges in the Democratic party. They’re the reason we can’t get anything done. They’re the reason we got stuck in this dystopian reality even though the voters gave the Democrats enough power to stop it in 2020.Start denouncing it for what it is. They’re Blue MAGA. They have to go. We have to stop supporting people like Cuellar who voted for the SAVE act. We have to stop supporting people like James Carville who makes disrespectful comments that alienate Black voters.We have to stop allowing the Democratic party to use offensive terms like “electability” to justify their bigoted and misogynistic lack of support for progressive candidates.Blue MAGA is why the Democrats didn’t ask for a single recount after the 2024 election. The Republicans are still demanding recounts for 2020. Why do they get special privileges that hard-working people of integrity are denied?Blue MAGA has to go. If they want to appeal to “moderate Republicans” then they can run as Republicans. Instead of submitting to moving the Democrats to the right, let’s get a few people in there to move the Republicans to the left.Going to the right hasn’t worked. That’s literally the only direction we’ve gone for as long as I’ve been alive.I’ve had people disagree with me on this point. They’ve said that they think Red MAGA is the bigger threat than Blue MAGA. “We’ll deal with them once we defeat fascism.”But the people who make this argument are overlooking the fact that they’re defending the strategy that got us here. Focusing on Red MAGA and ignoring Blue MAGA has allowed the puppeteers to remain in position and arrange the game board in a way that suits them and defeats us.We can’t do the same thing again and again and expect a different result.On November 6th 2024, I decided to stop listening to the lies of Blue MAGA. Personally, I think their rhetoric is “too divisive.” I think they need to start working with me.From that point until the end of my days, I will be acting in accordance with my personal integrity. I will not support any individual or organization that does not unapologetically stand up for the rights of all people. I am not going to listen to this nonsense about how we have to make deals with the devil in order to win office.Once you’ve made that deal, you become corrupt. That’s the truth we must all hold to be self-evident.We have to purge our political movement of grifters, liars, and saboteurs. In doing so we will lose some support, but those losses will be more than made up for in the mass of good and decent people who have felt unrepresented until now.This is common sense. Stop attempting to appease the disrespectful bullies that push everyone away, and instead labor to create a safe space for decency. When we do that, we’ll have more than enough votes to not only win, but we’ll elect candidates of integrity who are actually committed to using their office for the benefit of the people.Take Blue MAGA seriously. Shout them into silence when they speak. Demand that they model the inclusivity they always lecture us to demonstrate. If that’s what they want, let them do it. As for me, I choose to stand on integrity.At this point Blue MAGA will try to say that my position sounds like a losing strategy. But once again, they’re trying to cover up the fact that disproves their position.All Blue MAGA does is lose. Their strategies do not work. They are what got us here. Again, we listened to them in 2020. We gave them all the power they needed. They failed to act, and then they lost. It’s time for a new generation of leadership.
