Using this new model it is possible to allow users to make decisions and impact the project direction *(in this specific case we address **[Splinterlands](https://splinterlands.com?ref=underlock)**)* through **voting power** which is similar to **[voting shares](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-voting-shares)** of traditional companies, but everything is done using **[smart contracts](https://leofinance.io/posts/@leoglossary/leoglossary-smart-contract)** and recorded on the blockchain. [](https://sps.splinterlands.com/dao) I will cover in this video how **DAO** is applied in **Splinterlands** and what are its possible impacts for the game development. Remembering that we are all part of this and after the **[SPS Tokenomics](https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@underlock/the-sps-controversy-splinterlands)** is changed the impact will be even greater as many players will be encouraged to invest in **SPS** and consequently have their **voting power** increased, so it is important that everyone understands how this all works and the role we must play together to make good decisions. **Useful links:** https://sps.splinterlands.com/dao https://sps.splinterlands.com/funds https://leofinance.io/posts/@splinterlands/sps-governance-community-proposals-v1 https://next.splinterlands.com/dashboard/proposals **The video is Portuguese only, I tried to make the subtitles, I spent more than an hour subtitling everything but in the end it went wrong 😰** https://images.hive.blog/400x400/https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/underlock/23s9e5TMPgqWUddnTHF8RFG6jJfY45WQmQWH28Skm2Y1ihhhTTC67cHzoYvLFpXWqErhR.png Thank you so much to everyone who read this far, I hope you enjoyed it.
