What is EFT and How Does it work ?

In this episode, I have a great conversation with Theresa Lear Levine. We discuss the technique that she uses to help her clients called EFT and that stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. It's been around for decades. Some people might have heard of it called tapping before. It's not uncommon these days for a lot of therapists to incorporate some tapping or some EFT work into their sessions. Everybody does it a little bit differently, Theresa shares with us a few details as to how EFT works and what EFT is. When working with EFT, we're working with our Meridian endpoints, which are the same areas of your body that an acupuncturist or a massage therapist would access in order to release physical pain and things like that. But we're also combining that with modern psychology. And we are releasing those negative emotions. The coolest thing I think about EFT is that anything you can feel, whether it's physical or emotional, can be improved upon or eliminated completely, when you use EFT with it. So it gets all four of your bodies, so to speak. So we have a mental body, we have a physical body, we have an emotional body, and we have a spiritual body.
