But the third servant, who did nothing with his talent, is rebuked and his talent is taken away. Jesus concludes the parable by saying, "To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away" (Matthew 25:29). God Rewards Faithfulness This parable teaches us that God rewards faithfulness. If we bear no fruit for the Kingdom of God and have no heart for his work, we cannot expect to be treated the same as those who are faithful.
