In our fourth Adult Civics Happy Hour, we look at the role of policing in Tacoma. Nate Bowling, 2016 Washington State Teacher of the Year, will moderate the discussion with representatives from the ACLU, the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department, and an HR attorney for a school district. We’ll discuss use of community relations with law enforcement, use of force policies, selective enforcement, and issues regarding #BLM.
