A testament to how much the Cape and island's image has been manipulated. And it’s not just social media. The vibe here is shifting...big money, secret deals, stories of land grabs, and a community slowly slipping into buyouts and ghost towns.Growing up, I was terrified of the bridge. Never thought I'd venture over it. But life pulled me in all directions—Massachusetts, Worcester, and landing on Nantucket—transformations I never expected. If I hadn’t left Cape Cod, I might never have seen how fragile the illusion truly is.Cape Cod is dying—its magic, its authenticity—yet it’s also on the brink of a reset. Maybe that’s the point.
