He then began to lose his hair rapidly.He shares his story with us, his recovery and then further bouts of extreme shedding. He has correlated these episodes to periods of sudden weight loss. Every time he loses hair he finds it just as painful as the first.He was so self conscious that he wore hats everywhere, even to dinner out and to a wedding! Because he didn't want to answer questions around his hair loss and found it upsetting when people assumed he had cancer.
