I'm your host, Bill McGeeney, and I hope to take you on a monthly journey around all of the topics involving, pertaining to, and affecting light pollution. Over the years, the term and connotation of light pollution has grown from little more than astronomical sky glow plight to a major ecological issue. Light pollution doesn't just pertain to the effects of unshielded nighttime lighting, the conversation increasingly involves light temperature and brightness levels as they impact the environment they're turned on in. It's been said that light pollution is the easiest of all the pollutions to correct, simply turn off a light.
