What Is Lyme Disease

I was first introduced to Lyme Disease (LD) in 2006.  Yes, I learned about it in my undergraduate studies in the 1990s.  I was told, "Lyme disease is a vector born illness (ticks) caused by bacteria.  Two weeks of antbiotics and it is resolved."  Next disease.   That's a totally inaccurate description.  Lyme is much more complex than that.    Lyme disease is a complex disease with many, many symptoms.  Yes, it's caused by a bacteria but the resulting infections can be mild to life-threatening.  Some people get a tick bite and shrug it off, others get exposed to LD and it dramatically alters their life.    I see a lot of pain, muscle aches, muscle fatigue, joint pain, stomach disorders (almost 100%), moods, emotions roller coaster, urinary tract problems, erectile dysfunction, loss of libido in both sexes . . . heart problems, breathing difficult and the imitation of auto-immune disorders.   Join Dr West in going through the journey of Lyme Disease.  A 22 video series (most videos are 5 minutes) as he walks through:  1.
