What Is Metta?

from Sit,Walk,Work (SW^2) · host Dominic Stanley

It is in the nature of love to be expansive. Metta is the Pali word for loving-kindness, goodwill, and general well-wishing. In this meditation I explore the way this concept supports expansion in our practice and the benefits of letting the goodwill and love we cultivate for ourselves overflow to others. This is a practice to com back to often on your journey as it can take a few servings of it before the benefits start to reveal themselves. This is a public episode.
