What is Prayer?

"Life is a mystery. Everyone must stand alone. I hear you call my name, and it feels like home . . . Just like a prayer your voice can take me there." - That's from a beautiful poem I wrote to my wife. So what is prayer? Is it merely asking God for stuff while he ignores us? Is it begging? Is it one-way communication? I talk with Linley Ali in this episode that really came at an important time for me and I've been trying to apply to my life what I learned in this episode since.
