What is salvation REALLY?

from reConstructing Faith with Mat Koenig · host Mat Koenig

In today's live Bible Study with Mat, let's talk about what salvation really is.  Many people ask questions like: Am I saved? How do I know if I'm saved? Did Jesus save me?  And those are great questions, especially when many Christians talk about salvation like it's a destination, as if salvation that was given through Jesus is only about going to heaven at the end of our life on earth.  But what if that's not the end of the story. What if that's not what it's all about?   Yes, the birth, death and resurrection of Jesus brought us back together with our Heavenly Father but what if "getting saved" isn't what salvation is about...what if we are supposed to view salvation as an INVITATION to a new life that doesn't begin when this one ends...what if it's supposed to start NOW? What if salvation is about extending that invitation to others so they can see that this new life of walking with Jesus begins today!  Today we will be looking into Romans 5
